Will Congress 2023 be virtual, in person, or both?
The ISECS Congress 2023 will take place in person, in Rome.
How many papers can I present?
You can present only one paper. You may in addition appear on roundtables or act as a panel organiser and chair.
May I chair the panel in which I give my paper?
Yes, you can.
I am presenting at the ISECS Congress, do I still need to pay the registration fee?
Yes, the payment of the registration fee is mandatory for all attendees including speakers, panel organizers, and chairs. Registration will open in November 2022. We invite you to register before March 31, 2023 to benefit from the early-bird reduced fee.
What does the registration fee include?
The registration fees covers participation in the Congress programme; and its institutional events; a certificate of participation; coffee breaks, welcome cocktail, and light lunches, attendance to the performance of the melodrama “The fair of Senigallia” by Carlo Goldoni - to be held in the Aula Magna of the Rectorate of Sapienza University of Rome (subject to availability). The fee does not cover supplementary cultural activities for which additional payments are required.
I am a doctoral student/early career researcher. Am I eligible for a reduced registration fee?
Yes, you are. Please see the “Registration” page or write an e-mail to info@isecs-rome2023.net
Will I receive a confirmation letter after I have successfully registered?
Yes, you will receive a confirmation letter and receipt by email as soon as payment is received and registration is completed. You may use this confirmation letter for visa application purposes.
Is it possible to select a specific date or time on which to give my paper?
No. We are sorry but, with over a thousand papers to schedule, we cannot guarantee a specific time or date. We will publish the draft timetable programme as early as possible (approximately at the end of March 2023).
Do you need volunteers to chair panels?
Yes, we do! If you are willing to chair a panel, please contact the organisers at call@isecs-roma2023.net and let them know your areas of expertise.
